All Media Baltics (AMB) has teamed up with Atende Software to launch a next generation OTT platform serving Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

The new service will feature a wide range of local and international sports and entertainment content, including live TV channels, premium sports and original movies and series, as well as give access to AMB flagship TV shows. It will be accessible to subscribers on smartphones, tablets, web Android STBs and smart TVs.

Under the terms of the agreement, Atende Software will implement its redGalaxy OTT platforms and provide multi-tenant white-label OTT backend, along with branded end-user applications for Web, Android, iOS, Android TV (operator tier), Samsung SmartTV and LG webOS platforms. The platform will be integrated with existing OTT head-end (based on Anevia) and with CRM, self-care and billing systems. Content security, based on Microsoft Playready, Google Widevine and Apple FairPlay DRM systems will be provided as a part of the agreement.

Commenting on the development, Jan Wykrytowicz, pay-TV CEO of AMB, said: “Atende Software brings well recognized OTT solution and an impressive track record in successful implementation and project delivery to our markets. We are delighted to cooperate with Atende Software and are looking forward to providing our viewers with a new, world-class entertainment experience.”

Przemys?aw Frasunek, multimedia director of Atende Software, added: “We are very honoured that AMB has chosen our solution at the end of a very competitive international tender process. The Baltic countries are European leaders in digitalisation and being able to bring our solution and services to three new markets is a very important step for us. redGalaxy enables AMB to deliver next generation TV services for all most important end-user platforms. Thanks to multi-tenancy support, the service can be easily deployed for multiple brands.”
