This surprisingly low figure was provided by Tomas Hanzak, senior analyst at Nielsen Admosphere, speaking at the TV CON 2018 conference in Prague.
Hanzak was referring to the first findings of the PEM D measurement of internet consumption, produced by Nielsen Admosphere for the Association of TV Organisations (ATO).
Started in January this year, it nevertheless only applied to the public broadcaster CT, as measurements for the national commercial broadcaster Prima only started in April.
The findings also showed that live TV accounted for 2,100 minutes of viewing a month per person, time shift on TV 69 minutes and live/VOD on secondary devices such as mobiles 32 minutes.
Furthermore, 71% of viewing of CT via the internet was through PCs, 13% TVs (mostly HbbTV), 9% smartphones and 7% tablets.
